Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Close to the best places I have stayed in 2 months in Brazil. The staff were friendly and engaging. Two of them spoke good English which helped. The room was very comfortable and was nice and quiet. The breakfast was of a high standard. It is in a nice setting with good views of the rainforest. It was ideally located to explore all the attractive walking opportunities. These were very enjoyable and considerably enhanced my stay on Ilha do Mel.

Negative: It was mostly cool and cloudy when I was there but there was little rain so actually good walking conditions. The blue sky appeared just as I was leaving!
