According to the brazilian federal law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. if the minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it will be necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, all minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid id with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. this must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents, optional tourist tax of 5.50 brazilian real per day, please be advised that from june 8 through the end of october, the hotel will be carrying out renovations on the pools and decks; these areas will be temporarily unavailable, from september 8 to september 30, the courtyard will be completely closed off; however, beach access will remain available via the side walkway, and beach service will continue as usual. starting september 8, the sauna, jacuzzi, and gym will also be closed. on october 1, partial access to the courtyard near the "torre frances" (french tower) will be restored, along with beach access through that area, during the renovation period, the faja restaurant will operate in the "canto da areia" dining room, maintaining its usual schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
