Sítio Paraíso Verde is a cozy country estate, covering about 3 ha located in the Mantiqueira Highlands at an elevation of 1,330 m, in the municipality of Itamonte (southern Minas Gerais), with very easy access, along the BR-354 Highway (Rio-São Lourenço Highway), about 1 hour before São Lourenço, and a short distance from the Itatiaia National Park (upper section) and its peaks. It is therefore also an excellent base for exploring the Agulhas Negras and Prateleiras.
It features a recreation area with a sauna and heated hot tub as OPTIONAL amenities, available to guests for R$ 280.00 per day of use (billed separately).
The estate, which inspires moments of relaxation and tranquility, is surrounded by the native greenery of the high-altitude Atlantic Forest, interspersed with araucaria trees, and immersed in the crystal-clear air of the beautiful Mantiqueira Mountains.
The main house is exclusively for guests and can accommodate up to 20 people; it is fully furnished. It features 6 bedrooms, including 4 suites (one of which is an outdoor suite with a TV), a full guest bathroom, a living room with three separate areas, two fireplaces (which must be lit by the caretaker), a full kitchen and an adjoining area with a sink, barbecue grill, microwave, and wood-burning stove, as well as a large table for lunch or dinner.
The property features a built-in recreation area consisting of a game room with an open kitchen (complete with a pool table, ping-pong table, and card table) and one full bathroom. Another full bathroom is located in the annex housing the sauna and hot tub.
The outdoor area features an outdoor pool (measuring 10 x 4 x 1.3 m), a multipurpose court for soccer, volleyball, and tennis, hammock kiosks, a slide, a swing, a slackline, a bird aviary, a stream with a wooden bridge and a small waterfall, and a covered parking area for 5 cars, with space to park additional vehicles.
It also has its own spring with potable water (tested) and produces its own honey.
