Positive: We stayed in this beautiful old villa for 8 nights and had a great experience overall. The house is spacious, with three large bedrooms – each with its own bathroom – which made it super comfortable for our group. It was clean enough and had everything we needed. The only thing to note is that it can get a bit noisy with cars passing by, but we got used to it pretty quickly. The location is excellent – walking distance to both Copacabana and Sugarloaf Mountain. We also felt very safe staying here, partly because there are military bases in the area, which adds a sense of security. Communication with the host online was fast and straightforward. Once we arrived, Danilson, the host, was very friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. He only speaks Portuguese, but we had a Brazilian friend with us which made things easy – and honestly, Google Translate works just fine too. All in all, a great stay. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something authentic, well-located, and comfortable in Rio!
